Eco-friendly wedding decor borrowed from one couple to the next.
As you all know, we’re pretty passionate about reducing unnecessary waste in the events industry. As we’ve gained more experience and grown as wedding planners, we continue to learn grow in this.
Wedding after wedding we kept seeing couples purchase the same decor pieces. Cake knife and servers, table numbers, candlestick holders, custom signage, etc. We kept asking ourselves “what do they do with 20 table numbers after the wedding day?” “Do they actually hang that sign or re-sell that decor?”
Jane was helping me paint the guest room in my new house in March of 2021 and we started talking about how we both saw this as an issue and wanted to find a sustainable solution. This conversation was the beginning of a year and a half long endeavor to brainstorm, dream, and plan how to do something that serves the wedding industry, inspires our couples, and actually reduces waste in some way.
Borrowed is the solution to the problem we saw.
