Cameron and Jon married at Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock, North Carolina on April 16, 2022. The wedding day was expected to be full of rainy weather, but it turned out to be a beautiful Spring day!
This sweet couple met online several years ago. Cameron had only one picture of herself on her profile and the rest were photos of bread she had made. She knew she could reel in a great guy with her baking skills! Several years later and she’s still winning Jon over with her homemade treats.
Their ceremony took place in the Evergreen Room at Chetola with 50 close friends and family members. Cameron and her dad are very close and they had the whole room in tears as they walked down the aisle together.
After the ceremony, guests were welcomed into cocktail hour. Cameron and Jon moved through their family photos very quickly so that they could enjoy mingling with their guests.
Cameron shared a passion for having an eco-friendly wedding. While she wanted the space to be inviting and have a great aesthetic, she wanted to keep things minimal. Her color palette included a soft robin's egg blue and a buttery yellow. When Cameron first saw the florals she yelled out “BUTTERY! They’re all so beautiful and buttery!!” It was the perfect way to describe the gorgeous pops of yellow in the florals.
The day after the wedding, I delivered the leftover flowers to Deerfield Ridge Assisted Living. It was such a sweet way to let others enjoy the flowers beyond the wedding day!
Guests danced the night away with the newlyweds. I love small weddings because everyone is so invested in what’s happening and is truly part of the day. Cameron and Jon got to spend quality time with all of their guests and everyone was smiling the whole time!
They ended their dreamy wedding day by doing a rose petal toss for their exit. This was my first time getting to facilitate a petal toss exit and it was stunning! The exit photos speak for themselves.
Cameron and Jon, I wish you a lifetime of growing in your love for one another and eating yummy bread!
