Did You Know Your Wedding Coordinator Was Doing This?!

Wedding Coordinators are an essential part of a wedding day. I know you’re probably thinking, “well of course you think that, it’s your job”. And you aren’t wrong, but let me paint the picture for you.

There are lots of things that go into coordinating a wedding day. I create a timeline for the day, communciate with vendors, set up and clean up, line up the bridal party for the processional, and so much more. All of those things are very essential to having a smooth wedding day, but let’s talk about the things a Wedding Coordinator does that you might not know about.

As a professional Wedding Coordinator, I will free vendors up to do their job, take care of you, and keep Karen under control.

Free Vendors Up To Do Their Job

You have an amazing team of vendors and I’m there to make sure they are able to do their best job. If the photographer is having to wrangle all your groomsmen together and get them in one place, they aren’t taking pictures. If the caterer doesn’t have the correct timing cues, the food might not be ready at the perfect time. If the DJ has to spend time lining up the whole bridal party before introductions, they can’t ensure the party is still going on and flowing well.

When a wedding coordinator is present, we can ensure that all of the vendors are doing what you have hired them to do! Your groomsmen will be on time, your food will be served deliciously hot, and the DJ will make sure that the party is flowing all night long!

Take Care Of You

On your wedding day, I make it my personal mission to make sure that you are comfortable, happy, and having the best day ever. I’ll fluff your dress, bring you water during photos, and make sure that there’s a to-go box of food waiting for you in the getaway car. Your wedding day is such a special day and I’m here for you to make sure that the little things don’t get you down.

And if you’re wondering, yes, I will hold your dress for you while you use the bathroom, too! I’ve done it many times before and it’s only awkward if you make it awkward!

Keep Karen Under Control

We ALL have that wild card of a guest. Maybe it’s your best friend from college who looooooooves tequila and a good time. Maybe it’s your mom who means well, but is really stressed about the day. And maybe it’s just a Karen. (no offense to any readers named Karen)

I’ll make sure these guests are taken care of and that they aren’t adding any stress or uncertainty to the day. I’m here to answer the wedding day questions, bring a glass of water to the bridesmaid who needs it, and ensure your mama that she has the freedom to just enjoy her baby girl’s wedding day.

I know there may be hiccups on your wedding day, but I also know I will confidently handle them for you. Your job is to marry your best friend and enjoy every moment of this special day. My job is to ensure your vendors are doing their best, you’re taken care of, and that your guests enjoy the day, too.

xo,

Joelle
